The chat room was set up so fast for us, and it seems to have been something I thought could really help those of us who are not able to meet in person with the others that use this forum. It seems sad that we can't arrange specific times with one other person or a group to get in there and be able to "talk" about specific issues. I feel silly checking just to see that my name is listed over and over.
I have a doc. apptmnt today with a new Family Dr., then will be seeing two Neuro's in the next two weeks....sure would like to chat with people who have perhaps seen the Docs.
I like the chat set up because the conversations eventually "disappear" and there is no permanent record of the conversation....That sort of gives a sense of some privacy although I know others can read it for a time.
Anyway ....please excuse this rambling...I am just going through rough times and feeling helpless..for lack of a better word. I know this is to be an upbeat forum.......but it is also one that is honest too. To be upbeat today would not be honest of me. Thanks for giving me this place to type.
I am trying to think how to solve this. Everybody has different schedules. I don't know if a mass email announcing a certain date/time in the chat room would get any results? Any ideas?
I think setting up specific times and dates via emails might work. Different times on different dates just like meeting times so each of us might pick a time that works for us and join the discussion at that time. Sorry you are in a rough patch bvaleria. Hope we can connect one of these days!
